The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. I was taken to an exam room within 10 min after my appointment time. While I waited for dr, there was an electronic interactive screen to get more information about gastro issues. After about 10 min, the dr came in to discuss any medical history - particularly gastro issues and past colonoscopies. He checked my gut for any pain. It was about 10 min long and then I went to the desk to schedule the colonoscopy. My only negative is that I had to pay $100 (my co-pay) just to meet the Dr and schedule my appt.

My mother had an appoint at 4pm. At 11:37am the same day, Dr. Raj's office called me to ask where my mom does her labs. I provided the information which was used to call the provider, but Dr. Raj's office never sent the order for bloodwork, not that it would have been completed and received in the next four hours. I received no additional call from Dr. Raj's office. So I drove from Colleyville to Denton, picked up my mom and took her to her appointment. We arrived 20+ minutes early, completed the usual paperwork, sat there a little longer and then was called to make payment. We made payment and proceeded to wait another 10 minutes or so. My mom was finally called, about 15 minutes later only to be told that they did not have the blood results they never ordered, and cancelled the appointment while we stood there. At one point, it felt like they tried to blame us for not having the bloodwork. There was no sorry for the confusion or the least bit of regret expressed by the office.

Excellent and caring doctor, but perhaps he spreads himself too thin. ALWAYS over 45 minutes up to an hour wait every time I have an appointment. Always a full waiting room. Nurse does not follow through in a timely manner and some things slide by. I had to remind and recall several times to get what I needed. Appreciate the knowledge and expertise of the doctor, but wait times, and communication could use improvement!

All of he front office ladies and back office ladies are all so nice and helpful. Dr. Raj fixed me I couldn’t eat or swallow having terrible pain and gerd and he did a he endoscopy and colonoscopy and he opened up my esophagus, and prescribed me some meds for heartburn. I feel so much better! I can eat, my heartburn completely gone, and my stomach feels so much better!

The staff was great, I had a very short wait time, the procedure was explained very well. However, the office was so stark and bare of any decor, that it was somewhat depressing to be there. It was not a warm and comfortable place to be. I know this has zero to do with the quality of care but mentally it was jarring to see nothing but marble floors and gray walls. Dr. Raj (a great doctor!) should hire a good interior designer and warm that place up. It’s already uncomfortable to have to be there because of the seriousness of the care needed so a welcoming decor would help reduce patient stress.

The day after my very good visit with Dr. Raj, I received a message from my pharmacy that I had two prescriptions ready. I didn't realize the he was ordering more meds, because I just had received the same meds through an automatic renewal that I did not set up. I went to the pharmacy after that and stopped the automatic renewal. This visit I received another call that I had two more prescriptions that I assume was automatic or ordered from the office. I told the pharmacy that I didn't want this order because I didn't order it and already had plenty of medicine left from the last automatic order. They seemed a little perturbed by my request, but I didn't want to pay $100 for meds I didn't yet need. Colestipol does not always store very well. I hope I did OK and that I can order the next batch when I need them. I plan to call the office next week to clarify what happened. Thanks for all you do, I felt this was one of the best visits I have had in the office with the staff and Dr. Raj. Steve
